HEALTH FIRST COLORADO LINKS
Health First Colorado is Colorado’s Medicaid program. There are many waivers, programs and services depending on ones needs. Specific to children- there are 4 waivers which do not include mental health (separate benefits). A case management company can help you apply. Places like A Rise Above, Imagine Colorado or All 4 Kids are a few. They will help you apply, and then assist in compliance with the needs- depending on your type of services and waiver. You will check in with your case manager monthly and they can assist with medical bills and coverage.
